New Things on the Horizon

We had 17 sales in our first launch which felt like such a success. It may seem small to others but even one sale to me would have been enough. It takes one person to start creating a chain and we already have 17. That sounds solid to me and I cannot wait for these little products to reach more people. It is honestly so cool to think that there are already 17 people out there who wanted to bring one of these little displays into their own collection. I feel like this is just the very beginning of what The Curio Club can become and I am so excited to see where it goes from here.

We have been deep in designing ideas not only from other collectors, but designing our own crazy additions as well as revamping what we have made previously. We have a lot coming that is SUPER cool and a lot of the OG pieces are about to have a version 2. I feel like we have barely scratched the surface of what we can actually make and there are so many ideas floating around at any given time. Some are practical, some are a little ridiculous, and some are ideas that we have no clue if they will even work yet. Those are honestly some of my favorites though because you never know what we might end up with.

For our originals we are launching a bigger option for the mini print card case, revamped sizing and printing for the frames, and a different version of the flip frame that looks more like an easel, which is a fun concept to house some strong prints on display. I really wanted to keep the things that already worked while making them even better and giving collectors more options depending on what they want their displays to look like.

Our new ideas include a spinning frame with internal storage, a large gallery style vending machine that will fit well on a bookshelf, and a flip frame that utilizes thin frames instead of just the clear sleeves. There is a lot cooking over here and I am so excited to share. It has been really fun getting to take all of these ideas from little sketches and random thoughts into actual physical products that people can use.

I have shared some of our in between moments in these photos, and I am always thinking of more. There are definitely going to be some fails along the way but that is half the fun of making things like this. We are going to keep experimenting, keep designing, and keep making weird little things for people who love their mini art prints just as much as we do.

Talk soon, Kenzie
